Overview
Hokah, MN has not adopted MN State Building Codes.
However, the City of Hokah, MN does require a zoning permit for most building or remodeling projects. Under the City of Hokah, MN Zoning Ordinance # 133, § VI (A) (Building/Zoning Permits) Administration, a permit is required prior to erecting or altering a new or existing structure or building. At this time, there is no building official identified. All applications are submitted to the City Clerk and approved by the city's planning commission and the city council when required.
